
Local Passcode for Fast Linken Sphere Locking
A system lock protects the entire computer. But if you are working on a shared computer or stepping away from an already unlocked device, it is not always convenient to close all applications or log out of your account.
In the latest update, we added Local Passcode — a separate lock for Linken Sphere. With a single click, you hide your workspace, profiles, and running sessions. When you return, enter the password and continue working from exactly where you left off.
How Local Passcode works
The screen lock can be set up in just a few clicks:
- In the bottom right corner, click the lock icon.
- In the window that appears, set your desired password and click Set.
- The Passcode is now set. To lock the application, simply click the lock icon.
When locked, Linken Sphere completely hides all running sessions, regardless of which screen they were on. After entering the password, the workspace is instantly restored — windows return to their places, and you continue working from that exact moment.

When Local Passcode is enabled, the auto-login feature is activated automatically.
You can disable the Passcode in the license management section: click the logo in the top left corner and select "Local Passcode".
If you forget your password, click Sign Out on the lock screen. The application will log you out of your account. You can then log back into the system using your Linken Sphere account login and password.
The Local Passcode feature is already available to all users in the latest update for macOS and Windows.
